Reviewing GQ's Spring 2012 Trend Report

GQ Magazine recently published its 106-slide Spring 2012 Trend Report. We've reviewed their thoughts and provided our take on 3 trends. Take a look below and let us know your take in the comments, on Facebook or Twitter.

1. Suede Wingtip

These aren't exactly your typical oxfords, but that's exactly the point. The best part is their versatility. Wear them with your standard work pant to bring a little attitude to the office; pair them with your best denims for a dressy look that's perfect for Friday nights. They straddle the line between formal and casual, which allows you the flexibility to work them both ways.
Dark blues and browns look great, but you can definitely pull off the suede material in brighter colors, too. Or mix colors and materials for a stylish two-tone look in our suede and croc-print saddle shoes.
No, we don't love this trend just because it's fun to say the word 'anorak.' Okay, maybe a little. But these hoodie cousins deftly capture a dressy laid-back sensibility like few other items can. On those misty or windy days when Spring recedes just slightly back into Winter, the anorak is a great light jacket alternative.
Do cargo pants bring up bad style memories from the '90s? Get over it - they're here to stay. Avoid baggy pants as you'll look bulky in odd places. Also, don't use the extra pockets to carry everything you possibly can! We're talking to you, coin-carrying guy who jingle-jangles down the street.
What's your take on these trends? What new look are you excited to incorporate into your spring wardrobe? Let us know in the comments below, on Facebook or Twitter.
